I ran round with the duster this morning but there's so much wood to polish that it seemed to take for ever.
Mrs B's chair in the drawing room remained empty. Dust in the air makes her sneeze and that's bad for her stitches.
At half ten I remembered that I was supposed to take her along to see her costalot physiotherapist.
And so it came to pass that as she was being instructed in the art of pelvic floor exercise, I remained outside and planned my next session of hall floor exercise - I know my place.
The snack bar will be opening as usual at 8:00am tomorrow morning.
