I just found out that Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen died of heart failure at his home in Ishoef, Denmark on Tuesday April 19, aged just 58.A quick search on Google throws up little information about the death of a guy who was an outstanding virtuoso jazz Bassist.
It's very sad that jazz musicians who contribute so much lasting pleasure to so many are allowed to pass almost unnoticed by the world's press.
