Julius Caesar Theatre Diary 2005

I spent part of last night reading Chris Cadman's "Theatre Diary 2005" in which he described how he came to be on the stage of the Barbican in Deborah Warner's 2005 London production of Julius Caesar with Ralph Fiennes, John Shrapnel, Simon Russell Beale, Anton Lesser and Fiona Shaw.

The final entry described a June 11th visit to see the play in Paris. And today, less than twelve months later I am about to leave home to attend his funeral. A sobering thought.
