England Ground To A Halt

The Rooney metatarsals were declared fit and England ground to a halt at 5.00pm today. Not just the factories and shops but the England soccer team too. The result might have been 2-0 to England but the game was truly dire. The two worst matches in the competition so far have both featured the England team.
I'm not surprised because part of the team appeared to be here in Bogsville either for a spot of early morning prematch shopping or trying to get back to the team hotel after a late night session in one of our famed lap dancing clubs. This afternoon's performance suggests the latter.
